But there is no turning back now, the P.M. said, as he had determined he needed both the Opposition and social partners to get through this crisis.
The Opposition Leader says he is under even greater pressure in this election year to balance working with the Prime Minister and keeping him accountable.
One way he has dealt with it is by ensuring that the Opposition is represented at every level and area representatives are kept informed.
Both repeated that we are in this together and must work with each other to survive.
