Attorney General: “Country is not on lockdown”

Attorney General, Micheal Peyrefitte is on the show sharing with viewers the press release issued minutes ago by the Government of Belize.

The additional measures include the limiting of gatherings to 10 persons or less, closure of some businesses and closure of public spaces.

Peyrefitte emphasized to Belizeans that the country is not on lockdown. He says that the additional measures were issued by the quarantine authority for everyone to follow to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

He also urged anyone entering the country to inform the Ministry of Health and to go into self-isolation.

“Life goes on, these are just certain measures put in place,” Peyrefitte noted.

He also encouraged everyone to socialize with persons you live with at home.
