Texas-based luxury magazine encourages readers to visit Belize after global travel normalizes

Posted: Sunday, March 29, 2020. 11:03 am CST.

By BBN Staff: Paper City Magazine, a publication based in Texas, USA, that emphasizes on luxury, is encouraging its readers to travel to Belize once the COVID-19 pandemic has passed.

Paper City’s recently published article “The 7 Best New Travel Destinations to Daydream About While Social Distancing — Great Retreats are Coming” notes that the pandemic has had a negative effect on travel plans worldwide, but that travelers should visit the locations on the list as soon as the all-clear is given. The article made a special mention of Caye Chapel, as a premium destination in Belize that luxury seekers should visit.

“The uncrowded, remote island offers personalized service and the quintessential Four Seasons luxury amenities. Experience the best of island nature with a conservations institute, dive and adventure center, 18-hole golf course bustling harbor and marina village, gourmet restaurants and more,” Paper City said.

The article is one of several that has been published in the face of the pandemic, encouraging travelers to defer their trips instead of canceling completely. With the negative impact COVID-19 has had on Belize’s tourism sector, positive mentions such as the Paper City feature have become even more important in the hopes of rebuilding the sector following the pandemic.
