Holy Redeemer Credit Union postpones Annual General Meeting, asks for patience with new measures

Posted: Monday, March 30, 2020. 6:36 pm CST.

By BBN Staff: In light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Holy Redeemer Credit Union (HRCU) announced today that it will be implementing measures to assist its members.

The HRCU encouraged members who have been laid off or had their salaries reduced due to the economic impact of COVID-19 to call 224-4320 or 224-5644 or send an email [email protected] to discuss available options. The HRCU has also waived the application fee to obtain an ATM card for the entire month of April and is encouraging its members to take advantage of the opportunity and use the ATM service to limit contact with physical cash.

The HRCU also announced that its annual general meeting (AGM) which was scheduled for April 25 has been postponed due to the ban on mass gatherings.

The HRCU pleaded with its members to be patient during this time, while the number of persons being allowed to enter the branch offices is being limited, and encouraged all Belizeans to stay safe and keep up to date with the information being provided by health authorities.
