Casinos, clubs, gyms, barbers and more ordered to close during state of emergency

By BBN Staff: The State of Emergency will be enacted countrywide at midnight tonight.

The Government has issued a list of regulations governing the state of emergency including a list of businesses that are to remain closed.

For the avoidance of doubt, the following establishments shall remain closed until further notice for the purposes of preventing, controlling, containing and suppressing the spread of the infectious disease COVID-19

-–(a) casinos and gaming establishments;

(b) spas, beauty salons and barber shops;

(c) gymnasiums (gyms), sporting complexes;

(d) discotheques, bars, rum shops and night clubs;

(e) restaurants, saloons, diners, and other similar establishments provided that restaurants, saloons, diners and other similar establishments may operate to offer take out services only.

For the purposes of these Regulations, every person shall practice social distancing.
