By BBN Staff: The University of Belize has announced via a press release that classes will resume on May 4, 2020.

This is a postponement from the original date of reopening which was scheduled for April 20, 2020.

And so with this new date, examinations will be held on the week of June 8, 2020.

According to the release, students should spend time studying, reading and revising in preparation for when classes resume.

The university’s rescheduling comes on the heels of the countrywide state of emergency triggered by the COVID-19 virus.
