Belize confirms 4th case of Covid-19

By BBN Staff: The Office of the Director of Health Services just confirmed that a 55 year old patient of San Ignacio was tested positive for Covid-19.

The patient visited private medical facilities and was later transferred to the Western Regional Hospital.

The patient has no recent travel history. Dr. Marvin Manzanero said if it is confirmed to be the first case of community tranfer, as suspected, additional measures may need to be taken.
