Ismael Jacobs shot dead at home in Indian Village

By BBN Staff: Ismael Abel Jacobs, 27, was shot and killed at home last night sometime around 7:00 in the Indian Village area of Punta Gorda Town.

According to reports, he was at home with others when a lone masked gunman entered the front door of the house and fired several shots at him. When police arrived at the residence he was found dead in the living room with multiple gunshot wounds to the body.

His body was taken to the Punta Gorda Hospital and he was pronounced dead at 9:22 p.m. His body lies at the Punta Gorda Hospital Morgue awaiting a post-mortem examination. Police reportedly have two people detained for questioning in connection with the incident.
