By BBN Staff: The importers of Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) in Belize, Zeta, Tomza and BWEL informed today that they have agreed to reduce the price of butane.
A statement from the companies said that since families are facing tremendous challenges during the State of Emergency caused by COVID-19, the three main suppliers took this decision.
“The world prices are shifting and we have amended our prices to reflect the change. We see the long lines for supplies at the stores. Cooking your own food and stretching your dollar is important and that is why Zeta Gas, Gas Tomza LTD and Belize Western Energy Limited have put competition aside to offer you prices that will keep your stoves burning as we do our best to feed our families during these hard times,” the statement said.
The new prices for LPG for each district are listed above.
