Health officials: Preliminary mapping of patient #4 complete

By BBN Staff: The Office of the Director of Health Services informed that as of 4:00 p.m. yesterday, a total of 140 Belizeans had been screened for Covid-19.

The infographic indicated that 136 tested negative, 4 tested positive for Covid-19 and 5 are under investigation.

The breakdown of those screened includes 12 from Corozal, 10 from Orange Walk, 69 from Belize, 32 from Cayo, 10 from Stann Creek and 7 persons from Toledo.

The health officials indicated that the preliminary mapping of patient #4 had been completed.

Today, the health officials are engaged in their first virtual meeting in reference to Covid-19 with the Consejo de Ministros de Salud de Centroamérica (COMISCA).

The health professionals continue to urge everyone to stay at home.
