Health Minister Pablo Marin and Western Regional Hospital staff all tested negative for Covid-19

By Aaron Humes: Minister of Health Pablo Marin says he is negative for COVID-19 after tests performed on Thursday. A second test will be necessary within 14 days to confirm that each person that tested negative in the first test is still negative.

Also negative are members of the staff of the Western Regional Hospital in Belmopan tested at the same time.

The Minister took his test after touring the hospital on Thursday, and remains in voluntary self-isolation.

On social media this morning he thanked all for their best wishes and vowed to continue the fight against COVID-19.

Of 102 tests conducted by Saturday, one has been returned positive for a total of 5 confirmed cases nationwide.
