Warm and dry weather expected

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize says that seasonably warm and dry conditions are expected today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny today and partly cloudy to clear skies tonight, with little to no rainfall expected.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 96 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 83 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 70 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 66 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

The Met Service advises all residents, particularly those Inland are advised to keep hydrated and avoid direct sunlight as much as possible.

Winds will be blowing East-Southeast between 10‐20 knots and the sea state will be choppy.

High tide will come in at 8:18 a.m. and low tide will occur at 1:59 a.m.

The sun will set at 6:07 p.m. and the moon will rise at 3:54 p.m.
