By Aaron Humes: Prime Minister Dean Barrow in a live-stream on Facebook just now informed that authorities are concerned of human-to-human transmission in the Cayo District and so have placed it under quarantine.

During this time, random testing and greater surveillance will be done particularly from the Cayo District.

Residents will be restricted to procuring food, medicine and finance. Grocery stores will be allowed to open between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. while fuel stations and banks/credit unions will operate only between 8 a.m. and noon and public transportation will be halted.

Farming and related activities will be allowed to continue and essential workers will continue to work.

In addition, Barrow said that the transportation to and from the Cayo District will seize.
