Dry weather continues

The latest weather report from the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that seasonably warm and dry conditions will continue today, keeping with the ongoing drought that Belize is experiencing.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies today and partly cloudy to clear skies tonight. Little or no rainfall is expected.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 96 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 81 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 70 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 66 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

The Met Service has asked that Belizeans on all levels practice water conservation as forecasts predict less than average rainfall in the coming months.

Winds will be blowing East between 5‐15 knots and the sea state will be light chop.

High tide will come in at 9:25 a.m. and low tide will occur at 3:49 p.m.

The sun will set at 6:07 p.m. and the moon will rise at 5:59 p.m.
