Ministry of Health provides update on patient 9; says patient 7 is improving

By Aaron Humes: The Government of Belize announced that a 9th person tested positive for Covid-19.

According to Director of Health Services Dr. Marvin Manzanero, that person is the female minor from San Ignacio.

He added that she is not showing any symptoms and is currently self-isolated at home.

He reported this on the latest session of ‘Ask the Experts’ webcast on Facebook.

Patient 7, hospitalized at Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH), is improving and may be released to a ‘hospital area’ outside of the hospital if it is found
