Scotiabank announces closure of San Ignacio branch

Posted: Thursday, April 9, 2020. 11:52 am CST.

By BBN Staff: Scotiabank announced that its San Ignacio branch is temporarily closed due to the latest national developments regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Bank said that the decision to close operations was made in an effort to protect both customers and staff. The San Ignacio branch is scheduled to reopen on April 14, after the Easter holiday.

“Our full-service ABM remains available for use. Customers who need in-branch services are being asked to visit our Belmopan branch or any other branch that is convenient to them,” the Bank said.

Scotiabank also strongly encouraged its customers who have not yet signed up for online banking services to do so and take advantage of the convenience that online banking provides.
