By Aaron Humes: Holy Saturday brings a full quarantine for the next 14 days, during which a full mapping and testing exercise takes place.
Prime Minister Dean Barrow made the announcement this evening after consulting with the National Oversight Committee, following the announcement of the death of patient 10 with COVID-19.
Residents will be restricted to obtaining food, medicines, etc. during reduced hours. Essentially, what is in effect in the Cayo District now applies countrywide.
The Prime Minister also announced that he and his family are in self-isolation as one of the police officers assigned to his residence is being tested, as he is a nephew of the deceased patient 10.
