KHMH: Tests of staff returned negative

By BBN Staff: The Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) issued a statement informing that all the staff that were identified as having exposure levels to the COVID -19 case number #10 were tested after 48 hours of having worked with the patient.

 The Central Medical Laboratory has reported that all tested KHMH staff are negative at this point.

The release further stated that staff who were under the 14 days quarantine will remain on quarantine and will have a follow- up screening done as per protocol.  There are also arrangements being made for virtual counseling for the exposed staff with nurse Eleanor Bennett via WhatsApp.

In addition, the mapping exercise for the KHMH staff continues.

KHMH thanks the Ministry of Health and the Government for the support.

The statement ended by saying; “To all staff who continues to be committed against all odds,  [we] thank you and continue to pray with you for your dedication and hard work. KHMH  endeavors is to maintain our focus as we take care of our staff and the general public.”
