Online mass for Hubert Pipersburgh

By BBN Staff: Earlier this month Hubert Pipersburgh passed away after contracting Covid-19.

Today his life is being celebrated via an online mass at 2 o’clock on Zoom.

“The Pipersburgh and Recinos Family graciously accept the numerous calls and messages of condolences from so many friends and relatives who cherished Hubert’s life,” a statement from his wife read.

It continued, “May the soul of Hubert Arthur and the souls of all the faithfully departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.  Love for ever.”

The death of Pipersburgh or “Pipes” as he was affectionately known has caused an outpouring of sympathy on social media.

“Pipes” worked at the Belize City Council but lived in San Ignacio and had been a part of the national discourse on Belize’s progress.

He has also worked extensively to have Belizeans abroad involved and engaged in the nation’s activities.
