The National Meteorological Service of Belize says that weather conditions will be dry, hot, and hazy this Easter Sunday.
The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with some cloudy spells today and partly cloudy skies tonight with no rainfall expected.
Today’s temperature highs will range from 87 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 97 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 82 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
“Residents, especially in inland areas are advised to remain hydrated and seek shelter from direct sunlight as much as possible. Also, the risk for brush and forest fires remains high,” the Met Service said.
Winds will be gusty, blowing East-Southeast between 10‐20 knots and the sea state will be moderate-rough.
A small craft caution is in effect for gusty winds and rough seas.
Low tide began at 6:41 a.m. and High tide will come in at 12:42 p.m.
The sun will set at 6:08 p.m. and the moon will rise at 11:09 p.m.
