Car crashes into house in Benque

By BBN Staff: Earlier this evening, a car crashed into a home in Benque Viejo del Carmen.

Eye witnesses say that the driver of the car was apparently under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident. The driver was the only one confirmed to be injured but the extent of his injuries are unknown at this time.

Damage to the home was not reported to be significant.

We have confirmed that police are looking into the matter. Notably, the sale of alcohol during the state mandated quarantine should be prohibited.
