Prime Minister meets with representatives of KHMHA workers union to address critical concerns

By BBN Staff: Prime Minister Dean Barrow yesterday met with representatives of the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital Authority (KHMHA) Workers Union.

On April 11, 2020, the KHMHA workers union issued a statement condemning the manner in which administration compromised the safety of frontline workers.

In that statement, the workers union listed several issues regarding the test results and PPE’s that were of main concern to them.

The purpose of the meeting with the prime minister and the representatives were to discuss and address the many concerns affecting the staff of KHMHA in light of COVID19 and the recent occurrence within the KHMHA.
