Weather remains warm and windy

By BBN Staff: Weather conditions will be warm, dry, and windy in some areas, according to the latest weather report from the National Meteorological Service of Belize.

The 24-hour forecast says that conditions will be partly cloudy and hazy with no rainfall.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 97 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 84 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 81 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 72 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 67 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

The Met Service’s advisory for a high chance of bush and forest fires remains in effect. Residents are also advised to avoid direct sunlight as much as possible and to keep hydrated.

Winds will be gusty, blowing East-Southeast between 10‐20 knots and the sea state will be moderate-rough. A small craft caution is in effect for gusty winds and rough seas.

Low tide will occur at 9:48 a.m. and high tide will come in at 4:05 p.m.

The sun will set at 6:09 p.m. and the moon will rise at tomorrow at 1:43 a.m.
