By BBN Staff: As the country battles the COVID-19 pandemic, companies and communities are trying their best to assist the most vulnerable families.

The Mayor and Councillors of San Ignacio, Santa Elena and Benque Viejo del Carmen received a generous donation of live breeder hens from the Mennonite Community in Spanish Lookout.

The Twin Towns also benefitted from a donation of food supplies from the Asian community.

In the Twin Towns, the council distributed 1,000 live hens to some families and 600 bags of food supplies.

Mayors Marconi Sosa and Earl Trapp thank the communities for their generous donations.
