Orange Walk, Toledo and Stann Creek remain COVID-19 free

By BBN Staff: There are currently 18 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in three districts of Belize.

Of those confirmed cases, 6 are from the Cayo district, 8 from the Belize district and 4 from the Corozal district.

However, the Orange Walk, Toledo and Stann Creek Districts remain free of confirmed cases of the virus. This is- as the country goes into its third consecutive day with no new covid-19 case.

And though, there are 6 confirmed cases of patients from the Cayo District, Belmopan City and Benque Viejo remain COVID-19 free.

La Isla Carinosa, Caye Caulker is also COVID free.

The Government has now screened over 600 people and 46 are under investigation.

The Ministry of Health continues to urge the public to stay at home, practice social distancing and wash hands regularly.
