Warm and dry weather continues

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize says that warm and dry conditions will prevail today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for mostly sunny, hot and hazy today and  partly cloudy tonight with little or no rainfall expected

Today’s temperature highs will range from 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 98 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 88 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

The advisories for residents to remain hydrated and avoid direct sunlight as much as possible remain in effect. The chance of spontaneous bush and forest fires remains high.

Winds will be gusty, blowing East-Southeast between 10‐20 knots and the sea state will be moderate. A small craft caution may go into effect tonight.

High tide will come in at 9:27 a.m. and low tide will occur at 4:19 p.m.

The sun will set at 6:10 p.m. and the moon will rise at tomorrow at 6:00 a.m.
