Man jumps into man-made pool and dies

By BBN Staff: A man was found dead just before midday today near mile 15 on the George Price Highway.

He has since been identified as Nigel Welch, 22.

Welch, a deliveryman, was found inside a man-made pool at Malic Sand Pit which is about 100 feet wide and 15 feet deep.

Preliminary investigations revealed that he was with three other men and decided to jump into the pool but did not resurface.

Police are investigating.
