National Student Union of Belize elects new executive

By BBN Staff: The National Students’ Union of Belize elected a new executive council on April 19th.

Kevin Chen has been elected to the post of president.

Nathan Lisbey has been elected to the post of vice president.

Oliver Torres was elected to the post of financial officer.

Dominique Noralez was elected to the post of student affairs director.

And Ashley Longford was elected to the post of communications director.

On April 23rd the new Executive Council (EC) was sworn into office.

According to a release by the union, “The newly elected EC looks forward to working for the greater well-being of all Belizean students and youths during these unprecedented times and thereafter.”

The release concluded by asserting that this EC was the most diverse in the union’s history as no two EC members attend the same institution in the same part of the country.
