By BBN Staff: The Belize Red Cross has distributed food supplies to many needy families in Belize.

Last week, the Red Cross received a donation of $500,000 from the Lord Ashcroft Covid-19 relief fund to alleviate the suffering of families during this pandemic.

The Belize Red Cross purchased the food items and coordinated the distribution to the most affected communities with transportation assistance from Brothers Habet.

The Belize Red Cross expressed their gratitude to the Lord Ashcroft COVID-19 relief fund for their generous donations.
