Companies Registry announces temporary office hours

By BBN Staff: The Belize Companies and Corporate Affairs Registry (BCCAR) has announced  that it will be operating at reduced hours which, came into immediate effect today.

The BBCAR said that it will be open on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., and will be closed to the public on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Additionally, persons access service need to wear a mask or some other form of face covering and maintain a distance of six feet from others as required by the social distancing measures outlined in the State of Emergency (SOE) regulations.

“No more than 10 persons are allowed in the office at a time, however, management reserves the right to further limit the number of persons in the interest of the health and safety of everyone,” the BCCAR said.

The registry also noted that persons exhibiting flu-like symptoms are asked to refrain from accessing services in person. The registry is facilitating services online, so applications and filings can be sent to info@belizecompaniesregistry.gov.bz. The office can also be reached for queries via landline at 822-0421.
