Cristo Rey volunteers continue to fight fires in Western Belize

By BBN Staff: The Cristo Rey Village Council organized a team of volunteers that began fighting fires on April 22, 2020.

Since then, the group has grown and continues to try their best to mitigate fires.

The group has adopted the name of Cristo Rey Emergency Response team (CRERT).

The village council extends gratitude to the group for their time and effort and thanks everyone for their words of encouragement to the team.

The group of volunteers now has 32 members.

The public is reminded to comply with the regulations.
