Galen University’s school year uninterrupted by COVID-19, students can now register for summer courses

By BBN Staff: Despite the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had on schools around the world, Galen University’s academic year has remained unchanged and students in Belize and abroad can now register for the summer semester, which runs from May 4-July 4.

Galen announced open registration for the summer semester today, with the assurances that all courses will be available online.

“Galen invites students whose summer semesters have been cancelled to enroll with us this summer as transient or visiting students. Interested students may call 615-3129 or email [email protected],” the university said.

Galen noted that the spring semester which concluded on April 13, proceeded as planned through the utilization of the school’s virtual campus and virtual workspaces and that students who are expected to complete their degrees will be able to do so on schedule. The university also mentioned that it will announce plans for its graduation ceremony as soon as possible, based on advice given by health authorities.
