By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize’s latest weather report says that generally fair weather will prevail throughout the day with the possibility of showers in some areas.
The 24-hour forecast calls for cloudy spells with isolated showers or isolated thunderstorms mainly south today and over northern areas tonight. Little or no rainfall expected elsewhere.
Today’s temperature highs will range from 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 96 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 84 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
A warning for the high possibility of spontaneous bushfires remains in place. Residents, particularly in inland areas, are advised to keep hydrated and avoid direct sunlight as much as possible.
Winds will be blowing East-Northeast between 5-15 knots and the sea state will be choppy-moderate.
Low tide will occur at 8:42 a.m. and high tide will come in at 2:47 p.m.
The sun will set at 6:13 p.m. and the moon will rise today at 11:19 a.m.
