Another patient recovers from COVID-19

By BBN Staff: Today the Office of the Director of Health Service issued an infographic which revealed that another COVID-19 patient has recovered.

This now brings the number of recovered cases to 14.

And so with two deceased patients there are only two positive and active cases of COVID-19 in Belize.

But according to the statement attached to the infographic, the Office of the Director of Health Service announced that the two remaining patients may recover later this week.

It added, “While this is certainly good news as we have started with random samples from across the country, we cannot afford to assume we are through with COVID-19.”
