The latest weather report from the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that fair weather will prevail today.
The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with a few cloudy spells and isolated showers or thunderstorms developing over southern and inland areas today. Skies will be partly cloudy tonight and showers, if any, will be isolated.
Today’s temperature highs will range from 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 96 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 84 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 81 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 73 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 66 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
The advisory for a high possibility of spontaneous bushfires remains in place. Residents, particularly in inland areas, are advised to keep hydrated and avoid direct sunlight as much as possible.
Winds will be blowing East between 5-15 knots and the sea state will be slight.
High tide came in at 6:58 a.m. and low tide will occur at 12:51 p.m.
The sun will set at 6:14 p.m. and the moon will rise today at 2:39 p.m.
