Home burns down in Gungulung

By BBN Staff: Last night a fire consumed a home in the Cet Site area of Belize City known as Gungulung.

The owner of the 40′ by 40′ plycem dwelling, Deon Ferguson, 36, told police he had left his home since Wednesday to do business in San Pedro.

Shortly after 11 o’clock last night, a neighbor called and informed him that his house was on fire.

Unfortunately, the uninsured house nor its contents valued at $200,000 could be salvaged.
