Reward offered for assistance in Matias Alpuche murder investigation

By BBN Staff: Authorities are offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest of the person/persons responsible for the murder of 54-year-old Orange Walk taxi driver, Matias Alpuche.

Police say that Alpuche was stabbed several times and died while receiving medical treatment last night. Reports are that his vehicle was seen swerving wildly on the road before he was found injured in the Petiville area.

Anyone with information on the incident is urged to call 922 or the nearest police precinct.
