Two shot in Dangriga

By BBN Staff: Two men were shot in the Benguche Area, Dangriga Town last night.

Luwany Lurian Mena, 35, was shot to the right hand and Ernest Fransico Mena, 62, was shot to the ankle sometime after 7 p.m.

Reports are that they were sitting on their veranda when a shooter, described only as being of dark complexion and standing approximately five feet two inches tall, came and opened fire on them causing their injuries.

The shooter then reportedly ran off in the direction of Pelican Beach Resort and escaped.

Police are investigating the incident.
