Moist and unstable conditions continue

The National Meteorological Service of Belize says that weather conditions will remain relatively moist and unstable throughout the day.

The 24-hour forecast calls for cloudy skies this morning with sunny breaks this afternoon. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms will affect mainly coastal areas this morning and then inland areas this afternoon. Tonight will be partly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms becoming isolated.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 91 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 81 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 81 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East between 5-15 knots and the sea state will be light chop-choppy.

High tide will come in at 10:05 a.m. and low tide will occur at 5:24 p.m.

The sun will set at 6:15 p.m. and the moon will rise today at 7:51 p.m.
