BREAKING: Thunderstorm alert issued by National Meteorological Service

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize issued a thunderstorm alert for Belize earlier tonight.

According to the National Met Service “strong thunderstorms, at times accompanied by gusty winds” is affecting mainly the south of the country.

Images from our local radar are not available at this time and as such an image from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) of the US is shared by National Met Service. Our local radar is down as it is currently being serviced.
