GSU find .9mm pistol in Belize City

By BBN Staff: Police have recovered yet another illegal firearm from the streets this time in Belize City following efforts by the Gang Supression Unit (GSU).

According to police, a GSU strike team searched an abandon lot located on Ceasar Ridge Road, which resulted in the discovery of a rusty .9mm P-35 pistol. It had serial number 37507 and contained a magazine with 3 Aguilla and 2 Lugar brand rounds of ammunition.

The pistol was deposited as found property since no-one was in the area during the time of discovery. This latest find adds to a number of high-power weapons already seized by police in operations over this weekend.
