More rain ahead

The latest weather report from the National Meteorological Service of Belize says that moist and unstable conditions will continue to dominate the weather today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for cloudy skies with some showers, thunderstorms, or periods of rain developing mostly over inland areas this afternoon, then over most areas tonight.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 86 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 92 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 82 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 78 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 72 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 68 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing variably between 5-10 knots and the sea state will be slight- light chop.

High tide will come in at 11:31 a.m. and low tide will occur at 7:09 p.m.

The sun will set at 6:16 p.m. and the moon will rise today at 9:53 p.m.
