Ministry of Health thanks organizations; partners for assistance in fight against COVID-19

By BBN Staff: Director of Health Services, Dr. Marvin Manzanero and Lizett Bell, director of Policy, Planning and Project Management Unit at the Ministry of Health are on the Ask the Experts segment today.

The health officials said that Belize is at 28 days without a confirmed case of COVID-19.

They extended gratitude to the local and international organizations and partners for their support, assistance and donations.

“We are at 7 weeks after we announced our first case and 4 weeks since we last documented a case of COVID-19,” Manzanero said.

Manzanero said that the Ministry plans to continue the segment since COVID-19 seems to not be going away.

In addition, random testing continues on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
