Fair weather to continue

By BBN Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize’s latest weather report says that generally fair weather will continue throughout today.

The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with a few cloudy spells today and partly cloudy skies tonight. Showers will be isolated, along with the chance of an isolated afternoon thunderstorm over the Maya mountains.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 96 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 82 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 81 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 75 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

Winds will be blowing East at 5-15 knots and the sea state will be light chop.

The low tide begins at 9:32 a.m. and high tide will come in at 3:26 p.m.

The sun will set at 6:17 p.m. and the moon will rise tomorrow at 1:04 a.m.
