Fair weather continues

Generally fair weather will continue today, according to the latest weather report produced by the National Meteorological Service of Belize.

The 24-hour forecast calls for mostly sunny skies today and partly cloudy tonight. Showers will be isolated and occur mostly over the south, with an isolated afternoon thunderstorm the mountains.

Today’s temperature highs will range from 89 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 97 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 84 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 75 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 71 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.

An advisory is in place for residents, especially those inland, to stay hydrated and seek shelter as much as possible.

Winds will be blowing East at 5-15 knots and the sea state will be light chop.

The low tide begins at 10:59 a.m. and high tide will come in at 4:47 p.m.

The sun will set at 6:18 p.m. and the moon will rise tomorrow at 1:41 a.m.
