Firearm search leads to drug bust

By BBN Staff: Police have arrested and charged two people for drug offenses following a search initially geared towards locating guns and ammunition yesterday.

Reports are that around 5:30 a.m. police searched the residence of Dale Saragoza, 32, when they found over 16 pounds of marijuana. One Sharen Thompson was also present at the time of the police search, so she was jointly chared with Saragoza for “Having Kept Possession of a Controlled Drug with the Intent to Supply to Another.”

They are expected to be arraigned in court on Monday.
