Guillermo Foreman in quarantine; to be charged

By BBN Staff: Belizean Guillermo Foreman who had been stranded for days at the Northern Border was detained by police on May 13, 2020.

The Belmopan resident shared with the media his ordeal after traveling down from the United States via Mexico and then being denied entry into his home country when he arrived.

Commissioner of Police, Chester Williams informed today that Foreman was in police custody and then placed in mandatory quarantine as per the Ministry of Health’s regulations.

Williams says that as soon as Foreman’s results is obtained and he is negative, he will be charged and taken to court.
