The National Meteorological Service of Belize says that today’s weather will be warm but relatively unstable.
The 24-hour forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies with a few showers and thunderstorms developing mainly over inland and southern areas this afternoon and along the coast tonight.
Today’s temperature highs will range from 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 97 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 86 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 80 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 74 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 70 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
All residents, particularly those inland, are advised to avoid outdoor activities as much as possible and to keep hydrated.
Winds will be blowing East-Southeast at 10-20 knots and the sea state
will be choppy-moderate.
High tide came in at 7:22 a.m. and low tide will occur at 2:04 p.m.
The sun will set at 6:19 p.m. and the moon will rise tomorrow at 3:25 a.m.
