The National Meteorological Service of Belize says that generally fair weather conditions will prevail over most areas today.
The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with cloudy spells today and partly cloudy tonight. Showers and thunderstorms will be isolated, with more activity over the south tonight.
Today’s temperature highs will range from 88 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 96 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 85 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills. Tonight’s temperature lows will range from 82 degrees Fahrenheit along the coast, to 75 degrees Fahrenheit inland, and 72 degrees Fahrenheit in the hills.
An advisory remains in place, particularly those inland, are still advised to avoid outdoor activities as much as possible and to keep hydrated.
Winds will be blowing East-Southeast at 10-20 knots and the sea state will be choppy.
High tide came in at 8:17 a.m. and low tide will occur at 3:42 p.m.
The sun will set at 6:19 p.m. and the moon will rise tomorrow at 4:37 a.m.
