Bowen & Bowen dismisses truck-driver and crew busted with more than 10 grams of weed

By BBN Staff: On Friday, May 15, police in the Stann Creek District arrested and charged a delivery truck driver working for Bowen and Bowen Limited for possession of cannabis over the legal limit.

The police have conducted their investigations into the matter and the employee has pleaded guilty to the charges.

“We are managing the situation internally through dismissal of the delivery truck driver and the termination of the other two members of the truck crew. Bowen & Bowen takes this incident very seriously and has zero tolerance for illegal activity. We expect our employees to abide by the laws of our country and to conduct themselves with the highest ethical standards,” a statement from the company said.

Bowen says that the safety and well-being of all employees and customers remain their top priority.
